Privacy policy

The short version: the calculations happen in your browser and never leave your device. The detail is below.

The important part

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The figures you type — your salary, your mortgage, your grades, your energy use — are not sent to any server, not stored in any database, and not seen by anyone. Close the tab and they are gone.

You can check: disconnect from the internet after a tool has loaded and it will carry on calculating.

Who is responsible

The operator of this site. The site is run from Spain, so Spanish and EU data protection law applies. Write to mymicrotoolscontact@gmail.com with any question about this policy, or to request the full identifying details.

What data is handled

What you type into the calculators

None of it is handled: it never leaves your browser. The one exception is that if you share a result link, the figures travel inside that address, because that is what the link is for. You decide that by pressing the copy-link button.

What is stored on your device

We use localStorage, which is storage on your own device, not a cookie and not something sent to anyone. We keep:

You can clear it whenever you like from your browser settings.

If you write to us

When you send a suggestion, the message arrives by email. We handle that email only to reply to you and to decide what to build. We do not use it to send you advertising and we do not pass it on.

Advertising

This site currently shows no advertising. When it does, this section will be updated to explain which cookies the provider uses and how to turn them off, and nothing will load without your prior consent.

Analytics

This site may use Google Tag Manager to measure how many people visit and which tools they use. Measurement tags loaded from it can use cookies or identifiers.

It only loads if you accept. The legal basis is your consent (article 6.1.a GDPR and article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI), asked for in a notice the first time you arrive. Until you accept, your browser makes no request to Google at all: the container is not preloaded and not loaded silently. Rejecting takes a single click, exactly like accepting, and limits nothing.

Your answer is stored in localStorage under microtools:consentimiento and you can change it whenever you like from , in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

What is sent, if you accept: the page visited, that you actually completed a calculation with a particular tool, whether you share, copy, export or print the result, whether you send a suggestion, and what you type into the site search together with how many results came back. That last one is what tells us which tools are missing. The detail is in the cookie policy.

If you accept, the data is processed by Google as a processor, with its own safeguards and international transfers. It is used for one thing: knowing what to build next. It is not combined with anything, not sold, and not used to profile you.

None of this touches your calculations. The figures you type into the calculators still never leave your browser, whether you accept or not.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding your data by writing to mymicrotoolscontact@gmail.com. In practice, the only thing we can hold about you is an email you sent us yourself.

If you think we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency, or to the supervisory authority in your own country.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the bottom is updated. Material changes — such as switching advertising on — will be announced visibly.

Updated on 27 August 2026.
