The more specific the better. Telling us what you need it for makes it far more likely we build the right thing.

Your email (optional)

We only use it to reply to you. Nothing else.

Sending opens your email program with the message already written, ready for you to send. The site is static and stores nothing of its own.

What tends to win

We do not build everything we are asked for. These are the ones that usually make it:

A specific problem, not a category. "What one load of laundry costs" beats "something about electricity".
Calculations you do by hand today, or in a spreadsheet.
Things generic calculators get wrong, leave half-finished, or oversimplify.
Stable rules. Anything that depends on regulation changing every year ages very fast.

If you found an error

That is the most useful thing you can send us. Include the figures you entered and what result you expected. Better still: use the tool's Copy link button and paste that, because it carries your numbers inside and we can reproduce it exactly.
